Brief Role description:
- Assist new and existing customers buying prescription and non prescription glasses, as well as contact lenses and accessories..
- Answer customer calls, emails as well as social media and live chat queries.
- Assist customers in booking optometry appointments.
- Assist with customer enquiries and troubleshooting.
- Liaise between other direct channel team members in South Africa, Australia and Canada, and stores in Australia and Canada.
- Enter prescription data into Dresden systems required to complete sales.

Requirements of the role:
- Must have previous eyewear/optical experience: must be able to dispense progressives/multifocals and a variety of contact lenses.
- Min 3 years experience as an optician preferred.
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Ability to work night and evening shifts (this role serves customers in Australia and Canada).
- A reliable internet connection, a laptop/computer with a camera and headphones.
- Must be able to use web based systems and be comfortable with communicating through chat and other web based apps.
- Very friendly manner, an easygoing attitude, and putting customers first.
- Must have a high school certificate. Higher education qualifications will be an advantage
Shifts available
- Late Night Shift: 12 midnight until 8 am
- Evening Shift: 4pm until 12 midnight
- Early Morning Shift : 4am until 12 noon
- Night Shift: 8pm until 4 am

Salary: R13,000.00 - R16,000.00 per month
