Job Title: Accountant
Location: Dubai, UAE
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our trading company at our Dubai office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of accounting experience and possess excellent skills in QuickBooks Online for at least 3 years. The candidate should also have prior experience in working with trading or e-commerce companies. The age limit for this position is below 35 years.
Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Process and reconcile transactions in QuickBooks Online
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations
- Analyze financial information and prepare reports
- Maintain accurate and complete financial records
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Online
• Prior experience in working with trading or e-commerce companies
- Knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
